Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi capital city of Viet Nam
Day 2: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake with home stay in Pac Ngoi village
Day 3: Ba Be boat trip to Dau Dang waterfall and fairy pond
Day 4: Ba Be – Cao Bang (the old Guerrilla area anti French colonialists)
Day 5: Visit Ban Gioc waterfall – the most beautiful one in Vietnam
Day 6: Cao Bang – Lang Son with border market and go back to Hanoi
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Our warmly welcome at Noi Bai airport by our guide and pretty ladies in long dress. Passing the longest brige Thang Long to your hotel. For this day depending on your flight we will arrange a suitable city tour for you to get some first impressions of Hanoi - the capital. It can be the water puppet show, cyclo tour to the old trading quarter. Overnight in hotel
Day 2: Hanoi - Babe (B,L,D)
Start the special tour from your hotel, make stop for a visit and break at the museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen town, keep moving through many other timeless villages liked to the road which is the main artery of trade between the Northeast region and the capital city. Depends on traffic conditions, we will arrive in Cho Ra town in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel in Cho Ra.
Day 3: Babe lake - boasting, trekking, discovering the local people (B,L,D):
After breakfast you are transferred to the wharf. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise on the lake. We get lunch served near the beautiful waterfall. After visiting waterfall, your boat enters the quite lake with emerald water and bird singing, visit the Fairy pond. Get off the boat, trek about 3 kms in the tropical forest to Pac Ngoi village. Have dinner cooked by locals and overnight in their home.
Day 4: Babe - Cao Bang (B,L,D)
After breakfast check out Pac Ngoi village and Babe lakes we take about 2 hours to walk on the flat road through the National Park. Our driver meets and takes you to Cao Bang. It is at Cao Bang that the H'Mong, Zao, Tho and Nung ethnic minority people live in harmony. After lunch we will visit Pac Po, Ho Chi Minh's hideout. From there it is a 3 hours trek to a village of Nung minority people. Late afternoon, we drive back to Cao Bang. Have dinner and overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 5: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall – Cao Bang (B,L,D)
Take a scenic day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc waterfall. After that, have lunch on the way back to Cao Bang town. The unique landscape includes limestone karsts formations soaringfrom the verdant rice paddies of Tay, H'Mong and Dzao ethnic minority group. On the way back to Cao Bang explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cave to discover its brilliant stalactites. Overnight in the hotel in Trung Khanh.
Day 6: Cao Bang - Lang Son – Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast we traverse Dong Khe and That Khe on our way to Lang Son on the Chinese border. After lunch we go to visit Nhi Thanh Cave, Tam Thanh Cave and Dong Kinh market, the biggest market in the area fully stocked with Chinese goods. After lunch, drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends in Hanoi.
Transport: You spend 50% the time on car in this trip, so make sure that you get used to sitting long on car and attitude changing very often. We guarantee you the best car with the careful and experienced driver.
Things to bring: You are in mountainous area, so passports and valid visa are all necessary cause we need to show them in the borderline to China. Hat, umbrella, insect repellent and trekking boots as well. Binoculars are advisable to have a full view of spectacular mountain View.
